Swing-Away Auger

This all-new single screw, low-profile, gear drive, swing-away auger includes the best features of the Hutchinson/Mayrath standard hopper and low profile hopper series. The hopper design uses the company's flexible hopper coupler box to maintain an overall low hopper height of 10-and-one-half inches, a single hopper flight specifically designed to match the high capacity of the main swing-away auger, plus a large hopper profile of 33-1/2 by 60 inches for 8-inch hoppers or 38-1/2 by 60-inches for all 10-inch hoppers. Key benefits of this design include: a continual, positive flow of grain from the hopper into the incline tube to achieve maximum capacity; a simple, clean design using fewer parts, which reduces servie requirements and repairs; and a standard low-profile hopper on a highly productive swing-away auger design.
